The author of the trilogy THE WAR BETWEEN HEAVEN and HELL uses his pen name, Saint Larius. He uses a pen name because he wants only the Lord's name to receive the glory. It is also for the sake of the brethren that he has ministered to in the underground church in foreign lands. [The Bible refers to God's people, the redeemed as "saints". Ephesians 1:1, Psalm 16:3 Psalm 149:5 etc.]
Saint Larius is a Full Gospel Evangelical Christian and has ministered in Christian and secular venues.
Being a guest speaker at a large church, one of the church staff members said she saw two huge angels standing next to Saint Larius, one on the left and one on the right while he was speaking.
When asked to pray for a lady in Hong Kong who was sick and had a fever, Saint Larius laid hands on her and prayed. According to the lady’s testimony, she saw Jesus walk into the room and touch her; the fever left immediately, and she was healed.
Prayer is the key to daily strength, guidance, and the miracles in Saint Larius’ life.
For over three decades, Saint Larius was affiliated with three major international ministries, he pastored two churches, and has been involved in marketplace ministry. For several years, he was the host of a weekend radio show, and a co-host of a morning drive time show.
Saint Larius writes the trilogy using military terms and analogies because the Bible uses such terms regarding prayer and spiritual warfare.
“Larius” was born in America but has traveled to many countries of the world.
With “boots on the ground,” Saint Larius has made a point to pray and share the gospel in strategic points of the globe such as: Washington D.C., Jerusalem, Geneva, Moscow, Beijing, London, Paris, Zurich, Munich, Tokyo, Hong Kong, Shanghai, Seoul (South Korea), Manila (Philippians), Sidney (Australia), Athens (Greece), parts of Austria, Taipei (Taiwan), Lausanne (Switzerland), Turin (Italy), Warsaw (Poland), French Riviera, Cannes, Nice (France), Galilee, Jericho, Tiberius, Taba (Egypt), the Wailing Wall, the Great Wall, at the top of Mt. Sinai, Tiananmen Square, Red Square, Xian, Victoria Harbor (Hong Kong), Pearl Harbor, Shenzhen (China), Patmos Island, Lantou Island, (Hong Kong) Macau, Kiev (Ukraine), St. Petersburg (Russia), Kawaguchiko, Yokohama (Japan), former German SS Headquarters in Germany, Dachau Nazi concentration camp, Frankfurt (and other places throughout Germany), Hungary, Macedonia, Mars Hill, Sophia (Bulgaria), Monte Carlo, at the Red Sea, the Black Sea, Sea of Galilee, the Mediterranean Sea, over the
Atlantic Ocean and Pacific Ocean as he has flown to and from different countries.
Saint Larius' passion is to win the lost and take the light and hope of Jesus to a dark world. His burden is for America and other nations of the world. Larius believes nations can be changed for the better when God's people pray.
Saint Larius wasn't exactly born a saint, and as he grew up he became more of a zealous sinner. He quit a good job at the military division of a major aircraft plant and fled to California to the Haight Ashbury District. Later he went to a commune in the desert near Joshua Tree California. His hair grew to his waist, wore a Chinese robe, carried a staff like Moses, but he still wore cowboy boots being from Kansas and had lived in Colorado.
Everyone in the commune seemed to be on a "God trip" but the problem was, most of them didn't agree with each other and spoke out their different beliefs. Larius was trying them all including the mystical arts, but he didn't know which one to believe.
Determined to find God, he fasted and climbed the highest mountain in the area (with 12 dogs that followed him). Larius told himself that he would not come down from that mountain until he heard from God.
Unfortunately hunger and the night cold set in because he didn't bring anything with him, so he decided to go down the mountain the next morning. Larius said, "I think the dogs were happier than I was." He felt disappointed that he failed in his quest and the only thought he had as he descended from the mountain that day was that since he didn't hear from God, he would just learn more about Jesus. Saint Larius knows now obviously he did hear from God.
Saint Larius tells more of the story in his own words...
"Later, after I recollected many of the events in my life, I realized that God had spoken to me as I came down from that mountain by putting in my mind and heart what I should do next … and that was to just learn about Jesus. Days later and still on my quest I was invited to a Billy Graham film in a nearby town. I walked through the desert before dark and pondered on the beauty of the desert plants and had thoughts wondering why cactus's had thorns and other mysteries of nature. After returning to the commune we sat around a camp fire since we didn't have heat or electricity at that communal ranch. A stranger had come to the commune while I was at the film. This stranger was large in stature (not fat) and wore clothing of the culture, but with a blanket hanging over his shoulder and around his waist looking more like a prophet of old. As we sat there, he was telling us about Jesus and began to explain how awesome God's creation was and in doing so he explained why cactus's have thorns. This stranger even answered other questions that I had roaming in my mind that day as I walked in the desert. I had told no one my thoughts and absolutely no one knew the questions I had except God.
The man left but later I wanted to learn more so I prayed he would come back to the ranch, and he did the nest day.
Years later I came to the conclusion and belief that he was an angel. (Hebrews 13:2)
Unfortunately, someone else also came to the ranch around that time that had a virus and I became very sick. I didn't know what I had until I went to the hospital. When I entered the hospital, I weighed 105 lbs. and I had malnutrition and severe hepatitis. I was admitted into a quarantine unit and was the last one to fill the last bed in the 12 bed, isolation ward. In there I felt absolutely horrible, and my body was drained of energy. A nurse told me 'You were half dead when you entered the hospital.' In my bed I prayed a lot. but I still didn't know what to believe because I had my head so full of so many philosophies and other "spiritual" beliefs. But there was a Gideon Bible in the drawer next to my bed. I opened the Bible and my eyes fell on John 14:6 and as I read that verse, I received a revelation from heaven — I just knew it was true. The Bible verse said, "Jesus saith unto him, I am the way, the truth, and the life: no man cometh unto the Father, but by me."
I knew by revelation from the Holy Spirit that it was the truth.
So, I began to read more about Jesus and saw where He healed the sick. I was sick, so I said to the Heavenly Father, 'God, I see Jesus heals the sick, I'm sick! Heal me!'
AND HE DID.
Miraculously, God healed me! I didn't jump out of bed and exclaim "I'm healed" or anything like that but I certainly felt better, like, right away.
Within a couple of days, I think the staff noticed I looked better so the nurses took my blood test again. Right after that, three doctors wearing white coats, masks etc. (because patients were contagious) accompanied by masked nurses with clip boards came into our ward. Those doctors and nurses gathered only around my bed. The doctors asked me why I thought I recovered so fast? Those were their words, not mine. I didn't tell them I recovered, they told me! I just told them the truth. I said, 'I prayed, and Jesus healed me.' They didn't exactly jump into a charismatic hallelujah fit. They basically said, "Yeah, right." And the doctors told the nurses to check my charts and see if they had been giving me a new medicine that they were trying out on some of the patients, but they found out that they were NOT giving me that medicine. They were a little bewildered, but they couldn't take credit for it, and evidently had no explanation why my blood test turned out negative — and why the virus was no longer in my body. But the bewildered doctors agreed to release me from the hospital. All the other eleven patients in that ward were either amazed or questioned why I was being released so soon.
I went directly from there to see a Christian family in Anaheim whose daughter went to that communal ranch and had witnessed to me about Jesus.
I opened my heart and accepted Jesus as my Lord.
Jesus changed my life totally.
You can pray the same prayer:
A Simple Salvation Prayer
Dear Heavenly Father,
I believe that Jesus Christ is the Son of the living God. I believe He died on the cross for my sin, and God raised Him from the dead.
Jesus, I confess I have sinned. I ask you to forgive me of my sin. I need your grace and mercy. I need a new start in life, I want to be “born again.” according to John 3:3=5. I want to be a part of your glorious Kingdom.
I ask you to come into my heart and be my Lord and Savior. I receive your love and forgiveness now. Thank you, Heavenly Father. Thank you, Jesus. You are my Lord!
